Thank you for your interest in Reeves Custom Knives
Your place to get high perfomance custom knives.
To tell you a little about my self and my back ground my name is Jim Reeves
and I am a seventh generation Texan and a
direct descendant of Gordon C Jennings the oldest man to fight and die at the
Alamo. I was Raised in a Southern Christan family with a rich heritage made up
of Cowboys, hard working men, and women. I learned at a very young age that
hard work and sweat are just part of life.
I remember one summer I was 13 yrs old, My
dad was a welder. He did lots of metal art and could make or do anything with
his hands. Like most young men living in the country I was all about hunting
so, I was in the need of a good skinning knife. Dad's answer was always "We
will make you one". And we did. I still have that first knife made from a small
file and deer horn. That same summer we made several from saw mill blades and gave
them to friends and family. With that The knife making seed was planted. It was
not until later in life that the seed had sprouted. Like my Great Grandfather
must have had a well forged knife that he depended on daily. I strive to make
each and every one of my knives on one that can be depended on just the same.
My knives are hand forged in old time tradition using the finest materials
of today.. All of my work from raw material to completion is done solely by my
self. For that matter I may guarantee quality. I am determined to make each of
my knives an individual work of art as well as durable tools. So you are
assured that your knife is unique and one of a kind that can be passed down to
future generations. I hope that you find my work here to be of interest to you.
